Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of applying the Student Performance Sheet-assisted discovery learning model to improve students' HOTS (High Order Thinking Skills). This type of research is an experimental research with a quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group design method. The sample in this study was 39 grade IV elementary school students. Data collection techniques using test and nontes techniques. Data collection instruments were test questions to measure students' HOTS and observation sheets to see the success of learning using the LKS-assisted discovery learning model. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression and non-test data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the F value was 7.53 > F table 4.45, so it could be concluded that the application of LKS-assisted discovery learning models had a significant effect on increasing student HOTS.
