Abstract

Theeffectofspecificsurfaceareatothespecificcapacitanceofelectrodezeolitewithvariation ofcalcintiontemperatures.Thisstudydescribesthepotentialofzeoliteasasupercapacitor electrodewhichaimstodeterminetheeffectofsurfaceareaonthespecificcapacitanceof thezeolite.Zeoliteswassynthesizedfromamixtureofsilicabasedricehuskandalumina usingsolgelmethodeandwascalcinedat150,250,350,450,550,and650◦C.TheXRDresult showedalreadyformedaluminaandsilicaphasesforeachcalcinationstemperatureandthe temperatureof350◦Chasformedgmelinitephasewhichmarkshavebeenformedzeolite.The specificcapacitanceincreaseinthespecificsurfaceareaat90.69-150.01m2/g,andoccurred saturationofspecificcapacitanceataspecificsurfaceareaof150.01m2/g.Thehighestofspecific capacitanceisatspecificsurfaceareaof150.01m2/gisequalto8.13×10−3F/gobtainedfrom zeoliteswithcalcinationtemperatureof650◦C.Basedonthisvalue,thezeolitecanbeusedasa
