Abstract

Land is the most important production factor in supporting the success of farming. The area of agricultural land continues to decrease, causing the productivity of food crops to decrease, thus the importance of farming using intercropping patterns. Intercropping cropping patterns can increase farmers' income compared to monoculture cropping patterns. The intercropping pattern causes more efficient use of resources, especially light, water and nutrients. Research objective: to analyze the economic value of land in intercropping patterns of corn, cassava and factors that influence the economic value of land in agricultural land with intercropping patterns. Research methods include descriptive methods and inferential methods. The location was chosen by purposive sampling taking into account the corn-cassava production center with an intercropping pattern. Data types are primary and secondary. Sampling technique: There are 2 populations, namely (1) 447 corncassava intercropping farmers and 66 samples were obtained using simple random sampling, (2) 45 corn farmers and 45 samples were taken to make samples. with the census method. Data analysis (1) economic value of land: Land Rent analysis, and (2) factors that influence the economic value of land on agricultural land with intercropping patterns. The results of the research are (1) The economic value of land seen from the land rent comparison index for corn crops with intercropping of cassava crops is still better when compared to monoculture corn crops, (2) Factors that influence the economic value of land on agricultural land with intercropping cropping patterns are revenue and distance to the market location.
