Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of supply chain management practiceand total quality management on competitive strategies and organizationaperformance in the Black Pepper Gapoktan (Farmers Group Association) inNorth Lampung Regency. The research method used is the explanatory surveyThe sample in this study were 80 Gapoktan in North Lampung Regency. Datacollection techniques were obtained through the distribution of questionnaireand interviews with the Gapoktan chairman, while for data processing usingpartial least square (PLS) with SmartPLS software. Based on statistical testsand hypotheses, the results show that: 1) supply chain management practicehave a significant influence on competitive strategies with a path coefficienvalue of 0.283, and total quality management has a significant effect oncompetitive strategies with a path coefficient of 0.713; 2) competitive strategyhas a significant influence on organizational performance with a pathcoefficient of 0.762; 3) supply chain management practices have a significaninfluence on organizational performance with a path coefficient value of 0.536and total quality management has a significant effect on organizationaperformance with a path coefficient value of 0.295; 4) supply chainmanagement practices and total quality management have a significaninfluence on organizational performance through competitive strategies withpath coefficients of 0.216 and 0.544.
