Abstract
ndonesia is the second largest rubber on prodution country in the world with 3.69 million ha area. Rubber is a potential plantation species in Lampung including North, South, West, Central, East Lampung, Way Kanan, Tanggamus, Tulang Bawang and Pesawaran. The aim of this research is to recommend a strategy handling and improve the environmental management of the rubber agroindustry in Lampung. The method used is the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Supporting data was obtained from the government, association, industry and expert agriculture University Lampung. Research results with the AHP analysis show that an integrated and sustainable increase in the environmental management of the rubber agroindustry is ranked first (value = 0.581) with a strategy of involving related parties and understanding environmental management both government and private is recommended according to laws and government regulations, improving the quality of human resources, implementing comprehensive management starting from process to environmental management and applying the concept of clean production.
