Abstract
The Effect of Mathematical Representation Skill Learning Outcomes Using Discovery Learning Model. Most of the student assume that physic is one of the difficulties and boring subjects because a lot of formulas and concepts of physics that should be memorized. Therefore, this research aims to determine the effect of mathematical representation skill of learning outcomes using Discovery Learning model with Newton’s Laws of Motion as the main topic.This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Pringsewu in the second semester of academic year 2016/2017. The samples were 35 students in class X MIPA 1. The learning design was One Shot Case Study Design. Based on the results of simple linear regression test showed that there was a linear effect positive and significant correlation between skill to the mathematical representation of student learning outcomes using Discovery Learning model.
