Abstract

The Vietnam War impact on Indonesian Communism development 19571966. The research aim to study about the Vietnam War impacted on development communism party in Indonesia during 1957-1966. The method in this research is historical research methods. Data analysis used is qualitative. Library techniques and documentation are used to obtain data. The study results showed that Vietnam war had an impact on the development of the PKI in Indonesia on 1957-1966. It can be seen in the: a) delivery of delegation from PKI to Nort Vietnam on 1964, b) the PKI existed within Indonesian government organizations on 1960, c) there are tunnel-style artifact by the Vietcong (Chu-Chu) in the coup of the PKI on September 30, 1965 in Central Java, d) Vietnam became a hiding place by the leadership of the PKI after a failed uprising in Madiun 1948, and e) the prize awarded to Ho Chi Minh in Indonesia on 1959. The research concluded of The Vietnam War impact on PKI development trought propaganda and member regeneration.
