Abstract
A tourist attraction is an attraction for tourists who can cause feelings of pleasure and satisfaction in a particular tourist destination. The perception of visitors that a tourist attraction needs to be needed in order to optimize its management. This research was conducted at the Mount Masurai tourist attraction located in the Kerinci Seblat National Park. This location has various tourist attractions, including mountains, lakes, waterfalls, and various rare plants. The natural beauty found on Mount Masurai needs to be supported by the readiness of accessibility and infrastructure that can affect the increase in the number of visits. This study aims to analyze visitor perceptions of the tourist attraction of Mount Masurai so that it can be developed into a potential object to support visitor satisfaction. Sampling was done by using accidental sampling technique as many as 45 respondents. The data analysis method used is the descriptive qualitative method. The majority of respondents in this study were men (85%) with an age range of 15-25 years (98%). This study's results indicate that visitors' perception assumes that the object of tourist attraction at the research location is a location with an attractive tourist object. In addition, respondents argue that this tourist attraction can be used as a learning medium for visitors, especially student visitors. In addition, accessibility and infrastructure in Mount Masurai tourism are considered supportive but still must be monitored by the manager to keep it in good condition.
