Abstract

Abstrak: Peat ecosystems rich in organic matterial werw very fragile and prone to fire. The unique characteristics of peat ecosystems require natural regeneration and regeneration that could helped improved the ecosystem . However, the presence of invasive species in the peat ecosystem is thought to negatively affect the acceleration of the recovery of the peat ecosystem. This studied aims to determine the invasive species that were spread in the Peat Ecosystem of Orang Kayo Hitam Forest Park, Jambi Province. The study was conducted for 10 days in Orang Kayo Hitam Forest Park with an analysis of vegetation in 8 PLN plots covering an area of 195 Ha. The sample intensity used was 1%, so that 6 plots were obtained in one plot and 48 plots in total. The results of the vegetation analysis will be identified and categorized into invasive plants or not based on several criteria, and the results of invasive plant species in Tahura OKH.
