Abstract
Abstract: The Effects of Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI) Learning Model and Gender on Students Argumentation Skills. This study aimed to find out the effect of Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI) Learning Model, gender, and the interaction between learning models and gender on the students argumentation skills. The population was 352 students of grade VIII SMP 15 Bandar Lampung City. The samples were students of class VIII A as class of ADI and VIII B as guided inquiry which were selected from the population by cluster random sampling technique. The study was quasi-experimental with Pre-test Post-test Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The data were obtained from pre-test and post-test argumentation skills question test in essay form. The data were statistically analyzed using Ancova test and LSD. The results showed that the learning ADI model and gender differences significally influenced argumentation skills with significant value of each were 0,000 dan 0,000. While interaction between the ADI model and gender differences does not have significant effect on argumentation skills with a significant value of 0,961.
