Abstract
Abstract— The damage of distribution transformer can disrupt the continuity of electricity delivery to consumers. Various disturbances can defect the distribution transformer therefore the process monitoring of the electricity quantity at the distribution transformer is important to do. This paper presents a system of online monitoring electrical quantities from distribution transformers based on Internet of Things (IoT) technology. Voltage sensors, current sensors are used to measure voltage and current, microcontrollers are used as data processing measurements. The ethernet shield and internet modems are used to send data to the IoT Ubidots platform cloud server. The results shown that the distribution transformer monitoring tool was able to work to monitor the electrical quantities of the distribution transformer and send data to the IoT provider network, it also can be monitored remotely through a laptop or mobile device.
