Abstract
Kubu Perahu Camp Ground is one of the tourist destinations in Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park (TNBBS). This area is an intensive addition zone as a tourist location. The existence of various tourist activities will cause impacts, one of the negative impacts that can be considered is damage to trees. The purpose of the research is to discuss the value of damage to trees (IK) in the Kubu Perahu Camp Ground. The study was conducted using the Forest Health Monitoring (FHM) method. Observation of tree damage is based on three things, namely the location of the damage, the type of damage, and the severity of the damage. The results showed that at the location of tree damage, there were three locations of damage, but the location of the most damage was found on the lower trunk (code 3) of 29 locations; the type of tree damage were found with the type of open wound damage due to sharp cuts; with the severity of tree damage 29%. Based on the data analysis conducted, 2.9-4.4 belong to the good category including 13 tree species, the range of value 4.5-6.0 is classified as moderate category, and the range of value 6.1-7.7 belongs to the bad category including 5 species of trees. The value of damage to trees that occurred on Kubu Perahu Camp is still relatively good with the value of the damage status range based on the FHM method of 4.3.
