Abstract
The diversity of wild animals in Indonesia is very diverse and there is a wealth of unknown and published wildlife information. Information on the existence of wild animals in the Getas Ngandong Special Purpose Forest Area (KHDTK) is still lacking in the form of scientific publications. This causes the author to do this important research. This study aims to determine the diversity of wildlife. Research locations at Getas Ngandong KHDTK, Ngawi and Blora. East Java in July-August 2019. The study was conducted by interviewing key people on several employees, the community, lecturers and students who were at KHDTK, the direct observation method was also used to support the results of the interviews that had been conducted. The results showed that the diversity of wildlife diversity in Getas Ngandong KHDTK varied. There are 11 types of birds, 15 types of insects, 1 types of primates, 2 types of herpetofauna, 3 types of molluscs, 7 types of reptiles, 6 types of mammals. The study of this group of wildlife needs attention, given the importance of KHDTK as a sustainable wildlife habitat and safe from forest encroachment.
