Abstract
Scabies is a skin disease caused by a parasitic mite Sarcoptes scabei. Mani festations of severe i tching at night ca n di sturb concentration and affect the l earning achievement of students. This studi determine the relationship between scabies a nd l earning achievement in students used cross sectional method. Sample of this study are 35 people. Scabies determined by fi nding two of the four cardinal signs, the concentration levels were assessed using Merk Auf gaben test, a nd l earni ng achi evement seen from the average value of the midterm. Prevalence of scabies amounted to 60%. Based on data analysis, obtained the relationship between scabies and concentration level with p-value 0,0001 and obtai ned the rel ati onshi p between scabies and l earning achievement wi th p-value 0.0001. There is a significant correlati on between s cabi es a nd concentration l evel and significant correlation between scabies and learning achievement.
