Abstract

The application of agricultural equipment and machinery is one of the efforts to realize food sovereignty in Indonesia, agricultural equipment and machinery is considered able to increase agricultural production from by accelerating farmers work to reducing crop losses during harvest and post harvest, the process of analyzing the application of agricultural equipment and machinery is needed to know the potential of the region and the potential number of machines that can be applied and added. this research used object of research is Central Lampung Regency and 3 (three) types of agricultural equipment and machinery that were Hand Tractor, Rice Transplanter, and Combine Harvester By using ARCGIS 10.3. The method used was overlay and scoring with spatial data including slope, soil texture, and rainfall. The result of research showed that majority of rice field in Central Lampung categorized as Potential Area II (Two) comprised of 92.76%. and another is Potential Area I (one) there is 7.24%, and Potential Area III (three) none or 0% . For the most of applications is Rice Transplanter is 22,321 units with the potential of adding 22,171 units. Hand Tractor has the potential of apply is 10,147 units with the potential of adding 4,369 units.
