Abstract

In this paper, we derive analytical solutions for transient flow of Newtonian fluid through rectangular microchannel with Navier slip boundary under constant pressure gradient. This derivation of the solutions is based of Fourier series expansion in space. We then investigate the influence of the slip parameters on the phenomena. The effect of the slip parameter on transient pressure field and velocity as well as flow rate will be presented in this paper.
