Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine and describe the role of Civics teachers in addressing the impact of learning loss on the formation of citizens' competencies. The research method used in this study was causality with a quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were students of SMAN 1 Kibang, 11th grade, in the academic year 2022-2023. The sample size for this research was 42 respondents. The data collection technique used in this study was a questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this study involved using path analysis. The research results indicated that: 1) there was a positive and significant influence on the role of Civics teachers in addressing the impact of learning loss with a direct influence; 2) there was a positive and significant influence on the role of Civics teachers on the formation of citizens' competencies with a direct influence; 3) there was a negative and significant impact of learning loss on the formation of citizens' competencies with a direct influence.
