Abstract

Amphibians, especially the Anura order, are one of the Constituent animals of ecosystems that can be used as environmental bioindicators. The cultivation area is one of the good habitats for amphibians because it has a suitable habitat type for amphibians. The purpose of this study was to determine the dominance index of amphibian species (ordo Anura). The study was carried out on July-August 2023 in of Fajar Baru village, North Pagelaran District, Pringsewu Regency, Lampung Province, Indonesia. The study sites consisted of three habitat types (pond, river, and agroforestry land). The method used in this study is Line Transect combined with Visual Encounter Survey method. Data analysis was conducted using the Simpson dominance index (D) with the Formula = ∑(
