Abstract

ABSTRACT Perceptionsplayacrucialroleintheadoptionofinnovation,particularlyinthecontextoforganicfarmingpractices.ThisstudyaimedtoexplorefarmerperceptionsandfactorsinfluencingtheirperceptionsoforganiccoffeeinnovationinRobustacoffeecultivationinWestLampungRegency.TheresearchwasconductedfromDecember2022toJanuary2023,withasampleof59respondentsfromthreefarmergroups:Ampera,LanggengMulyo,andMargoRahayu.Usingaquestionnaireandnon-parametricstatisticalanalysis,includingtheRankSpearmancorrelationtest,thestudyfoundsignificantrelationshipsbetweenfarmerknowledge,availabilityofcapital,socialinteraction,andmarketingwiththeirperceptionsoforganiccoffeeinnovation.However,landarea,lengthoffarming,andsellingpricedidnotshowsignificantrelationships.Thesefindingshighlighttheimportanceofenhancingfarmerknowledgeandprovidingadequatecapitalsupport,facilitatingsocialinteractions,andimprovingmarketingstrategiestopromotetheadoptionoforganicRobustacoffeecultivation.Thegovernment'sattentiontomarketdevelopmentandpricingmechanismsfororganicRobustacoffeecanfurtherincentivizefarmerstoengageinthissustainableagriculturalpractice.
