Abstract
Stunting in toddlers can have an impact on the health and intelligence of children in the future, such as susceptibility to infection and decreased achievement at school. This activity aims to train posyandu cadres in improving anthropometric measurement skills for toddlers. The target audience for this community service activity is posyandu cadres in the working area of Puskesmas Sukaraja. The method used in this activity is giving knowledge, distributing training modules and simulating anthropometric measurements and role playing. This community service is carried out in September 2020. This activity was carried out in the hall of the Sukaraja Bandar Lampung Community Health Center. The result of the implementation of the improvement of the understanding of posyandu cadres with good understanding from 2% to 82%. As many as 18% of posyandu cadres still have a sufficient understanding of stunting and anthropometry measurement methods. The conclusion of improving the skills of posyandu cadres and conducting KIE regarding stunting can improve stunting prevention efforts.
