Abstract

This paper describes how employees choose the term of address among the employees at the same work position to the employees who have a lower or higher position. Data are gained from open-ended questionnaires distributed to ten offices from different fields. Each office provides ten respondents. Analysisi is conducted from pragmatic and sociolinguistic point of views.
