Glucose conversion have been studied using LaCr1-xFexO38 catalyst which was prepared by citric acid method. X-ray diffraction analysis showed that all catalysts had a perovskite structure of LaCr1-xFexO3 (x = 0.06, 0.5, and 0.94) crystalline phase. FTIR analysis indicated that catalysts had two sites of Bronsted – Lowry and Lewis acids which had a wave numbers of 1350 – 1500 cm-1 and 1550 – 1650 cm-1, respectively . Furthermore,To examine its activity, the catalyst was immersed in a 0.5 M glucose solution and hydrogen gas was also flown as a feed at temperature of 70oC. The experimental results indicated the catalyst is active on glucose conversion and the conversion is 99%.
