Abstract

This study aims to analyze the government's agrarian conflict resolution strategy involving the Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) indigenous community in Batanghari Regency through a community-based conflict management approach. Using a qualitative descriptive research method with literature study, this study highlights government governance in strengthening social capital, and persuasive communication as the main conflict resolution strategy. The results of the study indicate that governance carried out by the government together with other stakeholders prioritizes a community-based approach that can improve social integration, strengthen the position of indigenous peoples without marginalizing their rights to customary land that has been inhabited for thousands of years, and create a fairer solution by clarifying customary land boundaries and providing HGU to companies as a replacement for conflicted customary land. So that a sustainable solution is created through collaboration between the government, companies, and the Suku Anak Dalam indigenous community. The problem-solving approach applied allows for the creation of a win-win solution without ignoring customary rights.
