Abstract

The research aims to analysis the level of household happiness of red chili farmers welfare in Adiluwih Sub-District. The location was determined purposively, considering that Adiluwih SubDistrict has been the center of red chili production in Pringsewu Regency. The number of respondents in this research were 58 respondents and taken randomly. Data were collected from October to November 2023. The analytical method used happiness level analysis on the BPS 2021 publication with scoring techniques for each indicator. Data collection was conducted through interviews with red chili farmers regarding three dimensions of happiness including life satisfaction, affection, and the meaning of life. The three dimensions were divided into 19 indicators to calculate the level of happiness. The study shows that: based on the level of happiness, red chili farmer households in Adiluwih Sub-District are in the “Happy” category with an average total score of 8,00.
