Abstract

Teaching materials are materials or subject matter that are prepared completely and systematically based on the learning principles used by students in the learning process. Teaching materials are systematic, meaning they are arranged sequentially, making it easier for students to learn as a learning resource. However, in reality, as teaching materials develop, they should not focus on just one teaching material, but must use other teaching materials that are relevant to the lecture theme. One way that can be done is to develop teaching materials based on local historical sites. The use of teaching materials that use local history is still very minimal, therefore it is necessary to develop teaching materials, especially those based on local history, which are able to improve student learning outcomes, in this case historical sites in Lampung. The aim of this research is to implement teaching materials based on local history of historical sites in Lampung as a learning resource for history education students. This research method uses an experimental method. Based on the research results, it was found that the statistical test results obtained significant results of 0.138>0.05, then there was an increase in student learning outcomes which previously during the pretest in the experimental class obtained an average score of 63 and posttest results of 81.25, while for the control class the results were The pretest in the control class obtained an average score of 62.25 and after carrying out the activities the posttest result was 73.5.
