Abstract
South Lampung Regency is directly adjacent to the capital of Lampung Province, namely the city of Bandar Lampung, so the potential for conversion of agricultural land into non- agricultural land is very large. The existence of the Sumatra Institute of Technology (ITERA) campus, Airan Raya hospital, Trans Sumatra Toll gate (ITERA-Kotabaru gate) and the prospective Lampung Provincial Government headquarters are all located in Jati Agung District, South Lampung, which will affect changes in agricultural land cover. This research was conducted in the Way Kandis sub-watershed of Jati Agung District, South Lampung Regency, with a land area of 164.47 km2. The purpose of this research is to analyze the rate of land conversion and the amount of surface water runoff due to land conversion in Jati Agung District, South Lampung Regency. Land use change that occurred from 2016 to 2020 was dominated by changes in plantation land, settlements and mixed dry land agriculture. From the results of the HEC-HMS simulation, the peak discharge value and volume of water runoff in 2016 were 215.80 m3/s and 13,989,100 m3. In 2020 there was an increase in peak discharge and water runoff volume of 246.40 m3/s and 15,444,100 m3. An increase in peak discharge and volume of water runoff occurs every year. This is due to the change in runoff coefficient (CN).
