Abstract
The experiment aimed to investigate the effect of cutting length and topping on vanilla cutting growth. A randomized complete block design with 4 replications was used. The first factor consisted of topping and without topping. The second one consisted of 2, 3, and 4 nodes cutting. The results showed that the increase of cutting length increased cutting growth; topping increased stem diameter, leaf area, fresh and dry shoot weight. There was no interaction between cutting length and topping. Key words: vanilla, cutting, node, topping.
