Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of using waste from manufacture bromelain enzymes in the form of flour on ration consumption, body weight gain, and conversion of chicken rations aged 0-8 weeks. The method in this study used a unidirectional pattern Complete Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 3 treatments for the use of bromelain enzyme manufacturing waste (0%,1%, and 2%) with 6 replication. The research material used was joper chickens aged 1 day with an average weight of 36.03 ± 1.49 g / head with a coefficient of variation of 4.21% without separation of males and females and waste from making bromelain enzymes and ration of joper chicken. Each experimental unit consists of 4 chickens, so that the total number of chickens used are 72 heads. The waste from manufacture bromelain enzymes used is obtained from PT Bromelain Enzyme, Central Lampung . The results of the variety analysis show that waste from manufacture bromelain enzymes has no effect on ration consumption, body weight gain, and ration conversion.
