Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that has occurred since the beginning of 2020 has affected various aspects. the new problems within the household including acts of violence, and usually violence that occurs within the household. One of the policies that can minimize the occurrence of domestic violence is the Community Policing this policy is to try to improve public security and order by seeking steps to detect, identify, and resolve security and social security problems in the surrounding community. The problem of this research will be to examine how community policing-based women's protection policies for victims of domestic violence can be carried. The method used in this study uses the Normative Empirical method with a statute approach. Community policing is a framework that aims to improve the quality of life and public safety through collaboration between law enforcement and community members. regarding community policing have been regulated in the National Police Chief Regulation No. 3 of 2015. The essence of community policing is to focus on prevention efforts by positioning the community not only as an object of guidance, but also as a subject or implementer to create situations that remind each other of the awareness of the applicable law.
