Abstract
This study analyzes the cost structure, income, and risk of carrot farming in Balik Bukit District, West Lampung Regency. The interview consisted of randomly selected 50 carrot farmers in May-June 2021. The data analysis methods were descriptive quantitative, farm income analysis, and coefficient of variation (CV). The results showed that the highest carrot farming cost was labor costs, 42.22%, followed by land rental costs, 29.47%. This study found that carrot farming in the District of Balik Bukit is profitable, with an R/C ratio of 1.43 and a total income of Rp6,960,415.33/hectare. This carrot farming has a low risk with a CV value of <0.5. There is a positive relationship between the risk and income of carrot farming in Balik Bukit District.
