Abstract
This study aims to examine technical efficiency, technical inefficiency factors, economic efficiency, and income of rice farming using the Jajar Legowo system in Kramatwatu sub�district, Serang Regency. The research location is in Pamengkang Village and Tonjong Village. The respondents were 50 farmers. The interview was conducted in March - April 2021. Measurement of technical efficiency, technical inefficiency, and economic efficiency was done by using the Frontier Production function application and the dual frontier cost function. The Jajar Legowo farming in the Kramatwatu sub-district is quite technically efficient, which is 0.8. The technical inefficiency of Jajar Legowo rice farming is influenced by the age of the farmers and the farmers’ experience in applying Jajar Legowo. The Jajar Legowo rice farming has not been economically efficient with a value of 0.28. The farm cash income in the Kramatwatu sub�district is Rp. 12.851.049.53/ha and the total income is Rp. 8.382.957.22/ha. Keywords: eficiency, rice, farming
