Abstract
Environmental conditions shape natural selection which causes fish to maximize their reproductive abilities. Fish reproduction strategies and tactics are an effort of fishes to adapt to environmental conditions for the survival of offspring to adulthood and ensure the survival of the species. This article is a brief description and example of fishes reproduction strategies and tactics. An understanding of the strategies and tactics of fish reproduction is needed for the development of the aquaculture industry for commercial fish species, and is also important in determining the method of fisheries resources management. Management of ecosystems, hydrological systems and ecological dynamics of an aquatic system is very important to maintain the population of fish species and in order to maintain the sustainability of a fish species.
