Abstract

Red chilies’productivity has decreased yearly due to lower soil fertility. Efforts that can be made to overcome these problems are fertilizing with NPK fertilizers and biological fertilizers. This research was conducted in Sukabanjar Village, Gedong Tataan, Pesawaran Regency from November 2020 to April 2021. The research method used was a 4x3 factorial randomized complete block design (RCBD) with 3 replications so there were 12 combinations of treatments. The first factor was NPK fertilizer dose treatment of 0, 10, 20, and 30 g/plant. The second factor was the concentration of Grikulan Plus (biological fertilizer) consisting of 0, 15,and 30 ml/l. Homogeneity of variance was tested with the Bartlett test and additivity using the Tukey test, and further testing with BNT at the 5% level. The results showed that the 30 g NPK fertilizer dosage treatment/plant was the best treatment resulting from the highest red chili fruit weight of 521,44 g/plant.The application of Grikulan Plus biological fertilizer at a concentration of 30 ml/l resulted in a higher red chili weight of 415,21 g/plant. The interaction between the 30 g/plant NPK fertilizer dose and the 30 ml/l concentration of Grikulan Plus biofertilizer resulted in the highest red chili weight being 657,67 g/plant or equivalent to 13,15 ton/ha. Keywords: Biological fertilizer concentration, NPK fertilizer doses, red chili
