Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify effect of using the team quiz learning strategy on problem solving abilities and mathematics learning outcomes. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental type of research experiment. The research design is one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all fourth grade students, totaling 28 people. Data collection techniques using tests and non-tests. The test technique uses multiple choice question and essay, the non-test technique uses an observation sheet. Data analysis used simple linear regression and regression significance test. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that there was a significant effect of the use of the team quiz learning strategy on the problem-solving abilities and learning outcomes of fourth grade students in mathematics
