Abstract

This community service activity is a form of training accompanied by assistance to build awareness of sexual crime in cyberspace with the cybercrime prevention approach. This service activity is based on the social reality of the current development of digital society, which is increasingly massive and has resulted in many acts of sexual violence in cyberspace indirectly. Based on this context, high school students must be equipped with the understanding and ability to detect various crimes in cyberspace, especially those related to sexual violence. In particular, this service activity has led to the attainments of several goals, including the cognitive aspects, an increase in participants' understanding of sexual crimes in cyberspace and its scope. In this aspect, the participants understand better various forms of cybercrime prevention. In the practical aspect, the participants can identify varied forms of sexual harassment or crimes and apply crime prevention strategies, especially sexual crimes. Regarding the results of the pre-tests and post-tests, it can be seen that there are still varied participants' perceptions of sexual crimes in cyberspace. Nevertheless, as a whole, the implementation of this service activity has increased students' understanding of the issue of sexual crimes in cyberspace.
