Abstract
The Community Forest Program (HKm) is one of the schemes of the Social Forestry Program (PS), which is a state forest whose main use is to empower the community. Forestry instructors as the spearhead of the implementation of the HKm Program are expected to have the ability as a companion and can help solve problems related to the implementation of the HKm Program. This study aims to determine how the relationship between the implementation of the HKm Program with the performance of forestry extension worker. The research was carried out at UPTD KPH Pematang Neba and UPTD KPH Batu Serampok in August – October 2020, with respondents consisting of 70 members of the HKm group. . The method used is the survey method. The relationship between the implementation of the HKm program and the performance of the forestry extension worker was analyzed using Spearman's Rank correlation. The results showed that there was a significant relationship of 55.6 percent between the implementation of the Hkm Program and the performance of forestry extension worker.
