Abstract
Success in working on a project should start with good planning. Inadequate planning will impact on cost, time, and human resources swelling so that it is not in accordance with the plan. This study implements the COCOMO II (Constructive Cost Model II) method to calculate the estimated resources needed in an information system development. This research uses Information System of English Proficiency Test (EPT) in Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) Bahasa of the University of Lampung as a case study, which is currently in the development stage. Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) Bahasa of the University of Lampung must know the resources needed to complete the information system development project in order to determine a budget plan. This method has the advantage of being able to clearly predict the time, cost, and resources to complete an information system project. The COCOMO II method is carried out by calculating the Scale Factor, Effort Multiplier, and Effort Estimation.
