Abstract

Abstract Banana chips home industry center is located in Bandar Lampung, has a problem, one of them is waste had unmanaged properly. The waste of chips home industry, such as fruit peels, leaves, fruit stalks, weevils. This waste has potency as a material to produce a hand sanitizer product. The purpose of this activity is to solve a chips home industry society problem by disseminating research results. The methods used lectures method, discussions, and processing waste into hand sanitizer product guidance. The early survey showed that the chips home industry society need waste process guidance, such as a hand sanitizers process guidance. this activity was done transfer hand sanitizer technology. the final evaluation of the service showed that the increased knowledge and skills, such as waste process knowledge increased up to 40%, feed process up to 50%, and hand sanitizer process by 70%.
