Along with the World Health Organization (WHO) which issued an appeal to the public to implement contactless payments. This contactless payment is a way to change contacts with cash payments using electronic transactions on online shopping applications, so that online shopping becomes an alternative consumer to reduce direct contact when making transactions. With the awareness of avoiding crowds, this study aims to see how the motives for using shopee and interactions (including mind, self, society) were carried out by residents of SMK Negeri 5 B.Lampung Bandung during the COVID-19 pandemic. This type of research includes qualitative research using phenomenological research methods with symbolic interaction interactions. The data technique was carried out by interviewing, non-participant observation methods on 10 key informants of SMK Negeri 5 B. Lampung. The results showed that the motives for using the Shopee application were shopping and relaxation. Interactions that refer to the concept of mind, self, society, creating millennials using Shopee transactions during the Covid-19 pandemic tend to behave in a new lifestyle as a form of public service to reduce corona virus infection. Future research can focus on relationships and behavior and the adaptation of the Shopee online shopping application in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.
