Abstract
This study aims to determine the abundance of reef fishes and distribution of species - species of reef fish based on the Cluster analysis. This study was conducted on November 2019. The fish community were observed using visual census method.The results obtained from observations of reef fishes is the discovery of 13 reef fish family, represented by 27 genus and 1940 individuals. The results obtained were the highest abundance of coral reef fish found in Station 1 was 1.79 ind /m2 in the Pomacentridae family in the Abudefduf genus of at and Neoglypidodon at 1.45 ind / m2 at Station 2 .The results successfully identified several fish functional groups such as Mayor fish (73,5%), target fish(16,5%) and fish indicator (0,7%) occurred in the area. The target and mayor fish are most commonly found in this location. The indicator fish found was from Chaetodontidae family which is known as important and widely studied fish family in coral reef. Indicator fish consist at least 4 species. Means the diversity of coral reef fish in the medium category and the stability of the community is in the medium.
