Abstract

One of the problems of the banana chips home industry located in Bandar Lampung is unmanaged waste properly. This waste consisted of fruit peels, leaves, fruit stalks, weevils that have potency as a material to produce an antimicrobial soap product. Thus, this activity's purpose was to disseminate research results to solve the chips home industry problem. The methods used were lectures, discussions, and practice on processing waste into antimicrobial soap products. The early survey showed that the chips home industry needs guidance on the antimicrobial soap process. Therefore, the transfer of antimicrobial soap technology was done in this activity. The final evaluation showed increased knowledge and skills, such as waste process knowledge up to 40%, antimicrobial soap process up to 50%, and end process pre-sale knowledge up to 70%.
