Abstract
This study was aimed to find out the effectivity of natural feed Vibrio-Artemia Specicifc Pathogen Free (SPF) toward vibriosis incidence and growth performance in Pacific white shrimp post larvae. The experimental design used complete random design (CRD) consists of two treatments and three replications, shrimp fed with Artemia non Vibrio-Artemia Specicifc Pathogen Free (SPF) as control (treatment A) and shrimp fed with Vibrio-Artemia Specicifc Pathogen Free (SPF) (treatment B), each with thriplicate. Total Vibrio Count (TVC) on shrimp and cultivation water media, daily growth rate and survival rate of Pacific white shrimp were evaluated after 10 days treatment. The water quality (pH, temprature, salinity and disolved oxygen) were daily measured during experiment. Data (TVC, growth rate, and SR) was analyzed by ANOVA and followed by T-test in 95% degree significant. The results showed that Artemia SPF Vibrio sp. was decrease in the vibriosis insidence of reach 5 folds (0,30%) in post larvae Pacific white shrimp culture, increase in absolute growth rate reaching 4,44 mm, daily growth rate reaching 0,5 mm and survival rate 74,4%. The study struggest in application of natural feed Vibrio-Specific Pathogen Free to control vibriosis and growth performance in Pacific white shrimp post larva cultivation.
