Abstract

Short stunting (stunting) in Indonesia is generally experienced in poor households / families. Risk factors for short toddlers (stunting) are influenced by family and household factors. Prevention is one of them by empowering the community to add components of nutritional intake and knowledge for toddlers, toddlers, and pregnant women. The purpose of this service is to improve the nutrition of families of toddlers and pregnant women through empowering native chicken breeding and knowledge about toddlers and pregnant women for stunting prevention. The service method by empowering native chicken stimulants is preceded by counseling to the target and providing genuine chicken stimulants. The results of this empowerment will be in the form of stimulation of native chicken seeds as a source of protein from their eggs. Each family of toddlers aged 0-1 years and mothers are given 3-5 chickens to care for and then use their eggs to improve family nutrition. The implementation of this empowerment began with the successful implementation of counseling given to increase the knowledge of toddlers and pregnant women.
