Abstract
Coffee, which is a leading commodity in Lampung Province, must continue to increase its potential to be more beneficial for farmers and at the same time overcome the problem of coffee price fluctuations. The untapped part of the coffee plant is the coffee flower which has a distinctive scent. The aromatic component of coffee flowers can be extracted using a distillation process using distillation equipment and requires sufficient knowledge to handle it. The purpose of this community service is (1) to increase coffee farmers' knowledge about the distillation process of coffee flowers and equipment to get the aromatic components of coffee flowers, (2) to increase coffee farmers' knowledge of good handling of coffee flowers before processing to obtain their aromatic components, and (3) to increase coffee farmers' knowledge about the results of distillation of flowers coffee that has good quality or as expected. The results of community service showed that there are knowledge increases of coffee farmers about (1) the process of coffee flower distillation and the equipment needed to obtain the aromatic components of coffee flowers; (2) proper handling of coffee flowers before processing to obtain their aromatic components; (3) the results of the distillation of coffee flowers which are of good quality or as expected.
