Hyperglycemia or high blood glucose levels are main causes of Diabetes Mellitus which are known to cause ejaculation disorders and interfere with spermatogenesis. With the disturbance of spermatogenesis, it will cause a decrease in the population of spermatogenic cells in the seminiferous tubules. This study aims to determine the effect of breadfruit ethanol extract (Artocarpus altilis (Park.) Fosberg) in repairing damage to the seminiferous tubules caused by high free radicals in mice (Mus musculus L.) induced by alloxan. This study used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of five treatment groups with five replications using male mice. Group K- as negative control (given 0.4 ml of aquabides), group K + as positive control (induced 150 mg/kg alloxan), group P1 (alloxan induced at 150 mg/kgW and ethanol extract of breadfruit leaves at a dose of 5.6 mg/40grW), P2 (alloxan induced at dose of 150 mg /kgW and breadfruit ethanol extract at a dose of 11.2 mg/40grW), and P3 (alloxan induced at dose of 150 mg/kgW and ethanol extract of breadfruit leaves at a dose of 22.4 mg/40grW). The data obtained were tested using One Way ANOVA and continued with BNT at 5% significance level. The results showed that the administration of breadfruit ethanol extract to seminiferous tubules of alloxan-induced mice could significantly increase the average of primary spermatocyte cells and diameter of the seminiferous tubules of mice, but did not have a significant effect on increasing the average of spermatogonia cells, spermatid cells, and epithelial thickness. seminiferous tubules.
